The Spice Route
A spacious four-bedroom house with home office in Wezembeek-Oppem

My client asked for colour. Not a careful accent wall but real colour, warm and unapologetic, with the pattern and craft of places he'd travelled to. That's how this four-bedroom house turned into a slow trip through Asia and the tropics.
The living room hits with landscape of hills, palaces and gardens spilling across the wall, a rust velvet sofa in front of it, a golden disc of light hanging like a small sun. The master bedroom goes tropical with hand crafted wall covering with leaves, terracotta, a flash of teal. One of the children's rooms is a full jungle, tigers prowling up the walls and over the ceiling. The study is the quiet one: mustard yellow, woven raffia on the walls, books to the ceiling, and Eames chair as a jewel of the room.
Every door opens somewhere else, but the house never feels scattered. Every room feels like a different stop of one beautiful journey.
